Jakarta (17/9) – PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO) continues to strengthen its commitment to encouraging young people to become catalysts for change in addressing challenges across various sectors. This commitment is realized through a collaboration between PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO) and Ruangguru in organizing the SUCOFINDO NextGen Initiative 2026, a young talent development program that combines education, exploration, and innovation to generate solutions relevant to industry, society, and the environment (7/9).
The program represents one of PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO)’s innovative approaches to introducing the role and capabilities of its Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) services. It also provides young people with the opportunity to gain a closer understanding of the challenges facing the industrial world. Through this experience, participants are expected to broaden their perspectives and develop practical ideas that create meaningful impact.
At the SUCOFINDO NextGen Initiative onboarding event, Budi Utomo, Director of Human Resources at PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO), explained that as part of IDSurvey, the State-Owned Enterprise Holding for Survey Services, PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO) has a significant responsibility to ensure quality, safety, and compliance standards across various strategic national industries.
“The role of Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) requires a high level of precision. At the same time, the digital era requires us to remain agile and continuously innovate. Therefore, the future of the TIC industry needs the enthusiasm, technological agility, and fresh perspectives of young people who can serve as catalysts for change,” said Budi Utomo.
In line with this vision, PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO) collaborates with Ruangguru to provide education and accelerate talent development. “Through this program, SUCOFINDO NextGen Initiative participants will gain hands-on experience, explore, and examine real-world industrial challenges from a broader perspective,” Budi Utomo explained.
Through this program, Budi Utomo hopes to generate fresh ideas that not only benefit participants’ personal development but also make tangible contributions to society and the advancement of Indonesian industry. “We hope that this collaboration will continue to grow and nurture a generation of resilient and innovative young talent.”
In line with these remarks, Budianto Tinambunan, Impact Operations Lead at Ruangguru, stated that the industrial world continues to evolve alongside advances in technology and digitalization. As a result, the ability to develop relevant and practical solutions is becoming increasingly important.
“Innovation is not just about creating something new, but also about understanding a problem and delivering solutions that genuinely address the needs at hand. This is one of the fundamental principles behind the SUCOFINDO NextGen Initiative,” said Budianto Tinambunan.
Budianto Tinambunan further explained that the program gives participants the opportunity to develop ideas based on real-world problems, deepen their understanding, collaborate, and receive guidance throughout the solution development process.
“This program can serve as a space for young people to learn, collaborate, and innovate, providing valuable experience for their future academic and professional journeys,” Budianto Tinambunan added.
On the same occasion, Nuri Hidayat, Head of the Social and Environmental Responsibility Unit at PT SUCOFINDO (PERSERO), explained that the SUCOFINDO NextGen Initiative also contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly by strengthening young people’s capabilities, fostering innovation, and enhancing collaboration.
“This initiative is not only about generating new ideas or technologies, but also about ensuring that innovation delivers tangible benefits and positive impacts for the environment and society. Through this program, we hope to develop relevant and inclusive solutions that contribute to sustainable development,” said Nuri Hidayat.
“We hope this initiative will encourage participants not only to develop innovative ideas but also to deliver solutions that provide tangible benefits and positive impacts for society, the environment, and a sustainable future,” Nuri Hidayat concluded.
